Tennis Australia (TA) is one of the largest sports governing body, entertainment and sports rights-holder, and media production houses in Asia-Pacific. We are now looking for a highly experience Broadcast and Media Technical Manager to join our team.

About the role
- Reporting to the Manager - Broadcast & Media Operations_, in this role you will be responsible for developing the strategic direction and managing the end-to-end delivery of all broadcast & media related technical projects at each TA event site, as well as providing high-level project management and leadership to the Broadcast & Media Operations team to satisfy the wide-ranging objectives of TA and positioning the AO as a global marquee event.

In this role you will:

- Lead yearly planning processes to define team goals, identify initiatives and clearly communicate them to the broader business
- Design, document, implement and manage technical projects and workflows to ensure that TA safely delivers industry leading broadcast & media operations at its events
- Manage and oversee the development, implementation and protect the integrity of event technical systems & workflows
- Plan and lead the safe bump in & bump out of all broadcast, media and production technical infrastructure, protecting the technical integrity of TA’s systems
- Manage associated procurement, contracting, invoicing and other administration
- Lead the Technology & Equipment year round and tournament teams including direct staff supervision

About you
- Minimum five years technical management experience in TV and/or media industry
- Previous experience designing and delivering end to end broadcast, media and/or production systems
- Strong ability to oversee large scale broadcast projects including event and year round system delivery
- Must have worked in TV production & outside live broadcast environment
- Knowledge of media formats for online, TV & all other media platforms
- Experience with content distribution methods via different mediums (TV/online)
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, set priorities in a changing environment and meet strict deadlines
- You must hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children Check.
