**About the Pool**

Now managed by YMCA Victoria, North Melbourne Recreation Centre (NMRC) is an aquatic and recreation centre that supports participation in sport at all levels, from family to professional. It is also home to North Melbourne Football Club and Fencing Victoria. If you want to push your health and fitness further, our gym facilities, group fitness timetable, pools and stadium offer great programs and areas to get fit.

We also offer basketball, netball, nutrition programs and personal training all year round; as well as lap swimming and swimming lessons in summer.

**About you**
- Ability to make decisions while under pressure
- Being able to manage conflicts with patrons and users
- Ability to stay alert and vigilant in a repetitive work environment
- Ability to multitask
- Providing excellent customer service for all members and guests
- Experience in the Aquatics and Leisure industry will be highly regarded
- First Aid and CPR certificates
- Willingness to undertake a Police Check and Working with Children Check

**About the roles**

Duty Managers (casual rates starting at $36.35 per hour):
As a Duty Manager you will have delegated authority of the Centre Manager, and maintain a broad knowledge of centre programs and services whilst at the same time managing a range of centre functions whilst on shift. For this role you will require a Pool Lifeguard qualification (funding may be available to help you obtain this qualification). First Aid and CPR certificates are also required.

Pool Lifeguards (casual rates starting at $29.44 per hour):
As a Pool Lifeguard you will supervise a large aquatic space while pro-actively ensuring a safe environment in and around the pool area. For this role you will require a Pool Lifeguard qualification (funding may be available to help you obtain this qualification). First Aid and CPR certificates are also required.
