About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a commercially-minded Marketing Automation Specialist to join our growing Marketing team. This team helps attract potential and inspire existing clients to choose Cliftons for their events. As the Marketing Automation Specialist, your focus will be to work with our marketing and sales technology stack (Marketo Outreach & MS Dynamics) to develop automated multi-channel campaign activities and customer journeys that deliver business impact
**In this newly-created role, you will**:

- Draw on your experience and engage in envisioning new strategies and potential solutions
- Optimise the Automation Platform Centre of Excellence ensuring efficiency, scalability and best practice - and upksill others internally
- Create seamless Marketo and Outreach programs
- Continually manage platform performance - including users, roles, programs, smart lists, sync/system errors, tracking, automations and more
- Communicate analytical findings and recommendations to senior internal stakeholders to continually advance automation efforts

**About you**
We're looking for someone with previous experience working in marketing automation, operations, data or equivalent agency experience.
**You will also demonstrate**:

- While previous experience working with **Marketo** would be ideal, if you have a strong working knowledge of **Pardot, Eloqua, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HubSpot, Active Campaign **or* ActOn*, we’d love to hear from you.
- A strong understanding of data workflows, architecture, field syncs, campaign hierarchy, attribution, reporting and lead management
- A strong reporting background using standard reporting tools
- A Marketing related degree
- Strong organisation and project management skills
- Tenacity and resilience to work effectively in a dynamic and evolving environment
- A flexible attitude and mindset
- Strong collaboration skills, and open to ideas and feedback from other stakeholders
