THE ROLE - based in Cheltenham, Melbourne*
- Plan, forecast, develop and create product that will provide a sustainable competitive advantage
- A sound knowledge and experience with river cruising charters and group touring
- Develop new unique experiences to give the product a competitive advantage and enhance customer satisfaction
- Assist the Product Manager in finalising all new product development, Tour Plotting and scheduling
- Maintain the Tour Charts, ensuring information is accurate at all times and Establish initial tour board set up to budget stage with Product Manager
- Work closely with Digital marketing team to ensure administration of product offers
- Management of cruise and hotel inventory
- Support the achievement of profitable revenue objectives by managing costs and margins to maximise yield
- Maximise use of all inventory to achieve targeted yield
- Assist in the pricing of product to ensure it is highly competitive and delivers targeted margin
- Manage both tour/cruise pax loads and procurement to overachieve on budgeted margin
- Assist in the procurement of goods and services to maximum target increase, including accurate contract administration
- Maintain excellent working relationships with suppliers and crew

ABOUT YOU*
- 5 years+ in the travel industry designing and delivering product
- Some destination knowledge advantageous
- Proven ability and experience in contract negotiation
- Planning & Organising
- plans, organises and manages resources to successfully perform role responsibilities
- Quality Focus - Ensure accuracy and quality in accomplishing tasks
