**What will you do?**

We're on the lookout for a Purchasing Specialist who thrives on precision, coordination, and building strong supplier relationships. Based at our Southbank office in Melbourne, this role is all about keeping the wheels of procurement turning smoothly. You'll play a key part in managing the full purchasing lifecycle from raising and tracking purchase orders to coordinating contract renewals and onboarding new suppliers.

As the Purchasing Specialist, you'll be the vital link between our internal teams and supplier network, ensuring that goods and services are sourced efficiently, accurately, and in line with Ryman's procurement standards. Your work will help keep our operations running seamlessly across both New Zealand and Australia.

Other key responsibilities include:

- Following up with suppliers and sites to ensure timely delivery and confirm correct receipting of goods/services
- Accurately process daily purchase orders (POs) across regions, ensuring purchases align with preferred suppliers, are coded correctly, and approved by the appropriate managers.
- Working with senior stakeholders (with support from the Purchasing & Contracts Manager and Senior Purchasing Specialists) to ensure contract compliance and fulfil commercial needs.
- Managing invoices through our system to ensure correct supplier, price and purchase order assigned.
