About the role
Permanent part time opportunity to provide an efficient administrative support service to the Virtual Emergency Care Service (VECS) clinical staff and patients with a high level of customer service, through a virtual and telecommunication platform, by demonstrating empathy, respect, teamwork and compassion.
About you
- Ability to adapt to ongoing change and service needs to ensure continuous improvement in processes whilst providing quality care to patients, families and carers.
- Greet patients, families, carers, relatives and colleagues professionally and courteously on entry into the Virtual Emergency Care Service, and ensure out of scope questions are referred to the appropriate Clinician or Supervisor.
- Demonstrated ability to remain calm, show empathy, understanding and provide patient centred care as the priority and focus.
- Confidently communicate with all levels of staff, patients and relatives, understanding and anticipating needs, including undertaking investigations to find and implement solutions to meet those needs whilst demonstrating a positive service focus.
- Proactively plan, organise and manage own time to produce results within set timeframes, while remaining flexible and open to change as service demand dictates. Demonstrate an understanding of own workload and the team's work and actions impacting internal stakeholders and share relevant information.
