**About the role**:
Our Merchandise Analysis team support our Merchandise function with data led analysis and insights supporting our three commercial pillars of Low Prices, Widest Range and Great Service.

A new and exciting opportunity has emerged for a Merchandise Analyst to support the team providing reporting and analysis.

Partnering closely with our Buying and Planning teams, this key role supports the Merchandise strategy and commercial decision-making process with data analysis and insights and process support across our entire Merchandise function. Your ability to partner with other functions to provide data led solutions will see you interrogating many types of data.

This analytical role will leverage your strong attention to detail, numerical and commercial acumen, and drive for continuous improvement to provide clear and actionable analysis and recommendations.

Ability to build and establish strong relationships with key stakeholders, whilst fostering open communication is key to this pivotal support role.

**About you**:
For this exciting opportunity we are looking for solid experience in retail with a working knowledge of merchandise and commercial principles in an analytical role**.**

Supporting the business with a high level of data analysis will require strong retail mathematical and technical competencies and experience. It is envisaged you will have advanced capability with MS Excel. MS Access, Power BI and SAP BI would be advantageous.

As a team contributor, you enjoy collaborating with others and engaging with your stakeholders to achieve positive business outcomes. Ability to function in the ever-changing fast paced retail environment, communicate concisely, interpret data and make decisions is key to success in this role.
