The Container Deposit Scheme, recently established in Victoria, is closely aligned with Scouting values and environmental objectives. The scheme provides charities, community groups, environmental organisations, sports groups and educational organisations with new and easy ways to raise funds. Scouts Victoria will manage multiple depots around the South Eastern region, utilizing this opportunity to maximise its own revenue stream.

The Refund Centre/Depot Manager will support the operations of the Scouts Victoria CDS depots. Responsible for greeting customers, managing through puts, assisting customers with their deposit, cash handling, supervising staff and working closely with the Regional Manager to ensure best practice is met within the depot. The Recycling Concierge will possess an unwavering customer centric focus and take pride in the depot objectives and values.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Attending recycling depot service area
- Attending customer enquiries
- Cash handling processes
- Cash reconciliations
- General maintenance tasks
- Cleaning
- Assisting customers with operational instructions
- Attending phone and walk in enquiries
- Supporting Depot Manager
- Other general duties as required

**Inherent Requirements for the Role**:
This position requires the staff member to:

- Ability to communicate effectively with staff, volunteers, customers, and suppliers
- Maintain OHS obligations and practices
- Satisfactory Police Check
- Valid Working with Children Check Card

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

**Salary**: $16.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week
