Southern Solutions Training is in the business of providing high quality, workplace training to individuals, groups and organisations.

To support our growth, we are looking to hire experienced and energetic VET trainers/assessors to provide exceptional training and assessment in:

- Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care and
- Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care

Training is delivered in the workplace and face to face with workplace visits scheduled to observe students and to discuss their progression.

We have vacancies for the Adelaide and broader area.

**Responsibilities** include but are not limited to:

- Providing a positive learning environment for students to undertake training and assessment
- Assisting and guiding students with their learning and assessment material

Visiting the workplace to:

- undertake observations
- discuss the students' progress and answer any questions
- discuss the student's status with the workplace and answer any questions
- conducting, marking and recording student assessments
- providing student support
- participating in validation/moderation activities
- ensuring compliance against the VET Quality Framework and organisations policies and procedures

To be considered you **must** have the following:

- Be passionate about Early Childhood Education and Care
- Be well presented and self-motivated
- Have excellent communication and time management skills especially with people from diverse backgrounds
- Diploma or higher level qualification
- At least two years industry experience working within an approved Childcare centre
- Evidence supporting currency in Childhood Education and Care sector
- TAE40116 Certificate IV In Training and Assessment or TAE40110 and additional units.
- Evidence of continuing development in a Childhood Education and Care and Training and Assessment
- Current drivers licence and own vehicle
- A demonstrated ability to engage with students from diverse backgrounds
- Proven ability to support students
- Insurance covering public liability and professional indemnity
- Current Working with Children Check
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Knowledge and compliance with the VET Quality Framework
- A thorough understanding of the CHC training package and industry requirements in relation to Childhood Education and Care
- Proficient MS Office Suite

**Experience**:

- Training/Assessing: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- CIV Training and Assessment TAE40116 (required)
- Diploma or higher in ECEC (required)
- Drivers license (required)

- Australia (required)
