**THE ROLE**:

- Take full control of Quality Assurance overseeing quality standards and food safety standards for the facilities and outlets
- Advise management of ongoing improvements and plans for maintaining best practice procedures
- Lead and mentor a small team across two fast paced, busy production sites
- Review and improve individual specifications across the different sites
- Provide compliance with training programs for relevant staff
- Control internal and external audits
- Reporting of daily management KPI's

**SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE**:

- Tertiary qualified in in Food Science and Technology or similar
- Proven experience in quality management in a food manufacturing environment (5 years minimum is ideal)
- A solid understanding of the Food Standards code and relevant regulations
- Understanding of HACCP, BRC, CFMSR, HALAL and other standards
- A passionate attitude driving successful outcomes and that problem solving ability that makes you calm and determined - a great quality leader
- Previously worked with major retailers is ideal, but not essential
