**Your new role**
In the Engineering & Maintenance Manager you will report into the Site Manager, working with them to develop the 3-5-year maintenance and engineering site plan. With the company investing heavily into the production facility it is essential you are part of the growth plans on site. Not limited to the equipment, this investment is in its people and you will be influential in growing and developing the maintenance team on site.

This senior role has been created to act as a catalyst to change and ensure that the Australian production remains at the forefront of the market and is competitive through value creation, capacity & capability development.

This role will have a key part to play in building the engineering capability and embedding best practice at the manufacturing site. Along with the fundamentals you would expect in a role of this nature:

- Ensuring all maintenance procedures and all equipment meet product safety requirements
- Ensure all OH&S and environmental policies and procedures are adhered to.
- Plan, lead and organise the Maintenance & Engineering teams
- Regularly review Maintenance & Engineering budget and control monthly spend
- Preventative and planned maintenance scheduling
- Manage and assist on capital projects, budgeting, and reporting
- Manage the highly skilled workforce and sub-contractors
- Manage engineering systems, processes, and documentation to ensure standards are adhered to and maintained

**What you'll need to succeed**
You will have a high level of autonomy in this role, leading through years of expertise in your field, working strategically as an Engineering & Maintenance Manager in your previous roles. You will demonstrate strong expertise and knowledge in maintenance and engineering, with people leadership an essential pre-requisite. This role is part of the supply chain leadership team and requires the following:

- Engineering degree or equivalent
- FMCG Manufacturing experience desirable
- Lean Manufacturing/Continuous Improvement Experience
- Prior Maintenance management experience within Manufacturing facility
- Comprehensive knowledge of OH&S regulations and systems
- Project, CAPEX & Maintenance budget management
- People & performance management experience
