Leading NFP are seeking an experienced Procurement and Contracts Officer to join their team.

**Your new role**

Reporting into the Head of Procurement and working a key component of a small team, you will be responsible for managing a broad variety of procurement and contracting activity, including but not limited to:

- Supporting the delivery of sourcing strategy and taking the lead on individual sourcing events
- Supplier relationship management
- Management of tender processes, as well as the negotiation and preparation of contracts
- Preparation of procurement reports and documentation
- Acting as a key point of contact for procurement related queries across the organisation
- Ensuring relevant systems reflect accurate procurement and up to date contract information

**What you'll need to succeed**

To be successful in this role, you'll bring demonstrated experience operating in a procurement role with exposure to the end of to end procurement and contracting process.

Key skills and experience required for success in the position will include:

- An understanding of and ability to contribute to a structured and well governed procurement process, including considerations around CSR and Modern Slavery
- Contract administration experience
- The ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to drive procurement outcomes
- Exposure to indirect and technology spend will be highly advantageous
- Relevant tertiary qualifications will be advantageous but non-essential
