**Manager Technology Risk and Control Enablement - 6 Month Opportunity**

As a Manager Risk and Control Enablement, you will join our Financial Crime Services Technology Risk team and assist in supporting technology change initiatives across CBA Group in identifying, assessing and managing the risk being introduced as a result of the change.

**This is a 6 month opportunity**No day is ever the same in a Risk role at CommBank. You’ll be challenged with new problems and new solutions in a role that allows access to multiple aspects of our business and a variety of project types.

Reporting to the Senior Manager Risk and Control Enablement, you will be part of a dynamic and exciting team, supporting key projects within a major programs that have been stood up within ES. The role is required to act with independence and must have the ability to influence stakeholders

**On any given day you will be**:

- Ensuring the implementation of technology controls in Chief Operations Office.
- Performing, facilitating and supporting Technology Risk assessments/workshops and provide robust challenge where required.
- Responsible for the design and implementation / support the business to design and implement controls to enable better risk and compliance outcomes.
- Identifying, initiating and managing actions to mitigate risks and to strengthen controls, including issues identified through audits and other external processes.Ensuring the correct risk and controls overlay the end to end process mapping and documentation management to support the control process.

**We’re interested in hearing from people who have**:

- Demonstrated experience in technology risk and cloud technology within the banking or financial services sector with familiarity with industry-specific challenges and regulatory requirements.
- Sound experience in comprehensive risk assessments on complex IT solutions, identifying vulnerabilities, and recommending appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Experience in designing and implementing effective IT control measures to safeguard systems and processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- The ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels, utilising influencing and consulting skills to drive consensus and support for risk management initiatives.
