Park Ridge State School is located in the western suburb area of Logan city. The school is situated on the service road, running adjacent to the Mt Lindesay Highway and located opposite the Park Ridge High School. It services the communities of Park Ridge and the developing areas south along the Mt Lindesay Highway and neighbouring suburbs to the north and west including Boronia Heights and Regents Park.Our school motto is 'Strive to achieve' and our School has embraced the 'Harmony School' concept whereby everyone in the school community works together to create a safe and supportive educational environment. The school utilises a range of programs and activities such as the You Can Do It program to equip students with the skills and competencies to develop social and emotional maturity and to engage children in positive, meaningful experiences to promote school as a fun, enjoyable place.
**As the Teacher you will**:
- Plan, prepare and deliver effective learning and teaching programs for every student in allocated classes and groups.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the school objectives and school planning.
- Contribute to the establishment and maintenance of a supportive school environment.
- Contribute to and assist with the management and further development of personnel, financial, information and technology, assets and facilities resources of the school to ensure their optimum use in meeting educational and departmental objectives.
