**About Our School**

John the Baptist Catholic Primary is a dynamic four stream school located in Sydney's South-West. The school uses innovative practices, such as additional fortnightly release for all teaching staff, to engage in collaborative capacity building.

**Position Highlights**

The successful applicant will join the school with a focus on providing quality Catholic education, maximising student outcomes by leading Mathematics practices K-6 and working with a highly experienced and capable Leadership team in leading excellence across our school.

This full-time role is scheduled to commence on Friday, 31 January 2025. **This role includes a full-time class release allocation.**

**About You**

As a Mathematics Coordinator 2, you work to ensure every student reaches their full potential through high-quality, collaborative and engaging pedagogy, focusing on Mathematics.

To excel in this role, you will be able to:

- create and implement engaging, rigorous planned learning experiences catering to the diverse needs of students
- utilise formative and summative assessments to drive student progress
- employ a data-informed approach to setting challenging learning objectives and providing constructive feedback
- support the inclusive Catholic religious and cultural environment for students
- demonstrate excellent classroom management skills focused on student well-being
- integrate technology to enhance contemporary learning experiences.

You will have attained:

- a tertiary qualification in Education
- eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA).
