An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Import/Export Operations Coordinator to join this Australian owned and operated Transport & Logistics organisation. They are a specialist in Freight Forwarding, Customs Brokerage and Logistics and renowned for their knowledge/expertise in moving freight globally whilst exceeding customer expectations.

Working in a friendly, positive and highly motivated team, your day will be busy and diverse. **Responsibilities will include but not be limited to**:

- Coordination of freight movements for both air and sea shipments
- Liaison with airlines, shipping lines, agencies and other relevant parties
- Import documentation, lodging cargo automation, liaison with internal customs professionals and invoicing
- Coordination of cargo collection and deliveries
- Handling of phone inquiries and general administrative tasks on a day-to-day basis
- A reasonable understanding of the Freight Forwarding and Logistics industry
- You will present with 1-3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to work to deadlines and manage multiple tasks
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to engage on all levels
- Strong attention to detail
- Outstanding organisational and time management skills
- A team player with a ‘can do’ attitude
- A sound working knowledge of the Microsoft Office
- A knowledge of EDI Enterprise highly desirable
