How will your ideas contribute to shaping what’s next?

You’ll work with a national team of highly skilled specialists. You’ll be a trusted partner to a diverse range of international clients and develop a deep understanding of their challenges to co-create innovative solutions that help shape the future.

In this position you will join our Infrastructure Advisory business as a Senior Consultant, where you will play an integral role in the delivery of business cases and project development services to public and private clients, primarily across water and transport.

Here are the key things you will do to deliver ‘advice that matters’.
- Work with our key clients to lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, supporting project and program development for critical infrastructure investments
- Manage small to medium projects including economics or financial analysis, business cases and integrated advisory services drawing in the broader expertise of Aurecon
- Maintain and further develop relationships with a range of clients and critical internal and external stakeholders
- Support a pipeline of future opportunities including managing proposals and pursuits for key clients
- Help to grow our business case capability as part of our broader Infrastructure Advisory offering

What are we looking from you?

Alongside your industry experience in similar role, you will also have:

- A track record of project delivery in a consulting or client environment
- Demonstrated experience in project development and infrastructure advisory services across multiple sectors.
- Exposure across all phases of a project's life cycle and particularly initiation, appraisal and business case stages
- An appreciation of strategic drivers and how these can influence client’s decisions
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Law, Engineering, Project Management, Business commerce/Economics, Mathematics or similar

This role will suit emerging consulting professionals with approximately 5-10 years’ experience looking to take the next step in their career. Exposure in water and/or transport infrastructure sector is essential. Understanding of project management principles and appreciation of the project delivery cycle is important. Relevant tertiary qualifications and experience is essential. Attributes sought include strategic thinking, seller-doer mindset, commercial acumen and influencing.
