What will you do?

In this position you will join our Infrastructure Advisory business as a Senior Consultant, where you will play an integral role in the delivery of business cases and project development services to public and private clients, primarily across water and transport.

You will be part of a diverse team who are experienced and passionate about providing ‘advice that matters’ across the infrastructure asset lifecycle, advising on strategies and investment decisions that drive value and proactively respond to disruptive change.

Here are the key things you will do to deliver ‘advice that matters’.
- Work with our key clients to lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, supporting project development for critical infrastructure investments
- Manage small to medium projects including economics or financial analysis, business cases and integrated advisory services drawing in the broader expertise of Aurecon
- Maintain and further develop relationships with a range of clients and critical internal and external stakeholders
- Support a pipeline of future opportunities including managing proposals and pursuits for key clients
- Help to grow our business case specialisms in the water and transport Infrastructure sectors as part of our broader Infrastructure Advisory offering

What can you bring to the team?

Firstly, you will share our genuine passion for re-imaging problems and be someone that actively pursues continuous learning to help shape the future.

To be successful in this position you will ideally have:

- A track record of project delivery in a consulting environment
- Demonstrated experience in project development and infrastructure advisory services to water and transport clients.
- Exposure across all phases of a project's life cycle and particularly initiation, appraisal and business case stages
- An appreciation of strategic drivers and how these can influence client’s decisions
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Law, Engineering, Project Management, Business commerce/Economics, Mathematics or similar

This role will suit emerging consulting professionals with approximately 5-10 years’ experience looking to take the next step in their career. Understanding of project management principles and appreciation of the project delivery cycle is important. Relevant tertiary qualifications and experience is essential. Attributes sought include strategic thinking, seller-doer mindset, commercial acumen and influencing.
