This role offers an amazing opportunity for an experienced and dedicated Beauty Category Manager, who not only boasts expert product knowledge of beauty houses and cosmetic & fragrance suppliers, but also thrives on the experience of coaching & developing staff.
Lotte holds the title of the world’s second largest Duty Free retailer with 20 duty free stores worldwide, selling luxury beauty products from some of the most well know and luxurious brands from Australia and around the world.

**Role responsibilities**
- Lead development of category overviews and action plans for assigned customers, utilizing category management principles and strategies that will improve sales results and deliver customer category objectives;
- Analyse sales results in order to drive Beauty Advisor sales on the floor in line with established targets and communicate on areas of development opportunities to the Lotte Buyer (Beauty);
- Learn and understand about the sales trends and forecasts and maintain a strong focus on the business in terms of creating opportunity, maximizing sales potential and ensuring sales crews are delivering the best possible service to our customers. Assist in identifying, planning and scheduling training requirements for beauty advisors and ensure full attendance;
- Provide clear communication and consistent, constructive feedback on a weekly basis to all Sales Managers and Beauty Advisors as to their sales and pre-order targets as well as the results. Reinforce the selling skills and customers service programmed and to coach these skills on a daily basis;
- To ensure timely and effective execution of products launches and promotions.
- Interact effectively with beauty brands and the Support Office team;
- Manage the Beauty Advisors and ensure they are presented in accordance with Lotte Duty Frees and the Beauty House’s grooming and presentation standards at all times;
- Achievement of sales and GP$ targets on a daily and weekly basis;
- Assist in enforcing all company standards, policies and procedures and ensure full and complete compliance by all team members;
Please note that due to the nature of our business this role includes some weekend work on a rotating roster.
**What you’ll bring**
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in retail and/or duty free operations plus beauty experience
- Demonstrable experience managing staff, including coaching & developing staff
- A high level of administration skills and Microsoft Word and Excel at intermediate level
- Successful track record in making and creating sales and consistently meeting and exceeding targets
- Expert product knowledge of beauty houses as well as other cosmetics and fragrance suppliers
- Exceptional sense of customer focus and customer service delivery
- Demonstrated ability to work well and effectively as part of a team as well as independently
- A high level of negotiation and interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication
- A very high level of attention to detail
- Immaculate presentation
