Role And Responsibilities
As part of the School's established co-curricular Music Program this role involves teaching individual vocal students as well as choir direction. Through collaboration and support of our existing vocal team, this role will involve instructing vocal students across the school from our Junior School through to VCE. The current load is part time - up to 0.45 FTE (load to be confirmed) spread across two days. For the successful candidate there is also the opportunity to foster and grow numbers further.

This position is offered in line with the hourly rates set out by the Victorian Music Teachers Association with a commencement date of Term 1, 2026.

Applicants Must

  • Demonstrate success and experience in vocal instruction across a broad cross section of students from beginner to VCE.
  • Demonstrate excellence and knowledge in vocal choir direction, pedagogy and experience in the use of technology in vocal teaching.
  • Possess an inherent understanding and passion for teaching children in a school setting and ideally have a background in Musical Theatre.
  • Be committed to the consistent delivery of lessons and rehearsals.
  • Possess a willingness to adopt change, collaborate and strive for professional excellence.
