Adaptive Resourcing is proud to seek a Trainee/Junior Recruitment Consultant to join our team in this internal recruitment role. This is NOT an agency role, you'll be recruiting on behalf of a mining client where Adaptive have an existing and long term RPO (recruitment process outsourcing) in place.

This is a terrific opportunity for a recent HR graduate looking to break into Perth's Human Resources sector or someone looking at a career in the recruitment and staffing industry.

We offer a genuinely friendly environment with fantastic training opportunities and an encouraging and supportive team. This is not the place for micromanaging, hierarchy or bureaucracy - its actually the opposite, you'll work as part of a small team working hand in hand with the Senior advisor.

You'll also be busy from day one and swept up in the pace of it all As soon as you are ready to learn more, more will be provided - you'll become the master of your own recruitment destiny and become a highly skilled internal mining recruiter.

If I had to say the three most important skills to be a great recruiter... I would say:
1. Personality Be fun, don't be shy, participate.

2. Be fast and accurate with your administration. Errors could mean someone misses a flight to work

3. Be OK with not winning all the time Recruitment is fast. Dust yourself off and get back to it.

In addition to the work, it's important to be in the right industry sector. Perth is built on mining and long-term rewarding careers occur every day. Breaking into the sector is notoriously difficult. In this role, you'll work in the mining sector in an internal recruitment role - finding staff for permanent positions at a busy mine site based in the Kimberley region of WA.
