Reporting to the Assistant Accountant, as the Finance Officer you will complete varying finance duties, including AP, AR & Payroll, on a day-to-day basis and work within a small, close-knit team.

This position is responsible for:

- Attendance to all aspects of payroll management, including processing wages, superannuation, timesheet calculations, employee onboarding procedures, terminations and extensions.
- Daily banking reconciliation.
- Managing accounts payable, ensuring accurate and timely bill payments
- Managing and monitoring accounts receivable, including communicating with patients and other debtors to ensure receivables are collected within agreed terms.
- Credit card reconciliations.
- Balance Sheet reconciliation.
- Monthly reconciliation of results to Xero.
- Assist with managing the accounts payable inbox and responding to supplier and internal stakeholder queries.
- Covering the Assistant Accountant and the Accounts Receivable Officer when on leave.
- General bookkeeping, administration and reporting as required

The ideal person for the role will possess a ‘can do’ attitude, a willingness to pitch in to get the job done, be driven and enthusiastic as well as have a detailed and calm approach to their work and be ready to learn and add value to this supportive close-knit team
