**Job Description**:
Reporting to the CEO, the Operations Support Officer is responsible for supporting key processes across Human Resources, finance, sales, marketing and general operations. The role also provides support to the CEO and is a critical point of contact between Mentem and the broader university.

Mentem currently has 15 employees but is set for rapid expansion over the next 2 or 3 years. This is an opportunity to become involved at the ground floor and support the business as it grows and matures.

**Responsibilities of the Role**

**_ People / HR Support_**
- Process fortnightly pay.
- Timesheet administration.
- Creating and updating employment contracts.
- Onboarding and offboarding of Mentem staff.
- Arranging team building events

**_ Finance Support_**
- End-to-end accounts payable and accounts receivable process.
- Providing month-end financial information to accountants / finance manager.

**_ Sales and Marketing Support_**
- Website updates.
- Manage the social media schedule, ensuring Mentem staff prepare and publish content as per the schedule.
- Scheduling of client meetings.
- Updating the CRM with key sales information.

**_ Operational Support_**
- Assist the CEO with the production of board reports.
- Diary management for the CEO.
- Meeting coordination for the broader Mentem team
- Manage the Mentem shared inbox and calendar.
- Updating and maintaining the Mentem enterprise risk log.
- Maintain a calendar of key UNSW reporting and Governance events.
- Liaise with the Audit Office of NSW in coordinating the annual audit.
- Secretariat support for team / leadership meetings.
- Travel arrangements for the Mentem team.
- Managing the procurement process for purchases

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 3 years experience in a business operations role.
- Understanding of basic HR and Finance processes.
- Demonstrated ability to learn and improve business processes.
- High level of interpersonal skills, including strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proactive with a ‘can do’ approach.
- Excellent organisational skills, the ability to self-manage and strong attention to detail.
- The ability to produce high quality outputs for internal audiences.

**_ Highly Regarded_**
- A university degree.
- Experience working within a startup product company.
- Experience / understanding of the corporate training industry.

Additional Information
**Work Arrangements**
- We operate on a hybrid working model with 2 days in the office (Tuesdays and Thursdays)
- Part time / flexible hours will be considered for this role, including the alignment of responsibilities and workload to the hours worked.

**Remuneration**

Total Package (including super and up to 10% bonus): $97,500 - $105,000.
