Residential Full Time Position

Talison Lithium aims to maximise local employment where possible by recruiting people who live in and around
our local communities of Greenbushes, Bridgetown, Donnybrook, Nannup, Boyup Brook and Manjimup.

**About the Role**
Reporting to the Senior Planner, this is a permanent full-time residential position. The successful applicant will plan,
schedule & manage the shutdown mechanical preventative and corrective maintenance work. This role is responsible
for the shut readiness cycle, ensuring conformance to systems and processes in place to enable effective planning
and efficient resource allocation. The role is offered on a 7 days on, 7 days off roster

**Responsibilities include**:

- planning of all shutdown mechanical maintenance activities both preventative and corrective;
- planning and evaluating the logístical elements for maintenance shutdowns, including multi-resource work

fronts, work group interactions, plant access requirements and material movements;
- creation of Gantt charts for shutdowns, detailing the resource allocation for multiple work fronts utilizing

several contractor groups working in conjunction;
- forecasting of major shut works and maintaining the preventative maintenance schedules;
- defining shut labour requirements and sourcing specialist contractor labour;
- key interface facilitation between multiple parties and stakeholders both internal and external;
- reviewing completed work scope’s and interpretation of specialist reporting to determine future work

requirements;
- owner of the shut readiness process to ensure the planning function has been completed to a high standard

prior to enable smooth execution of the maintenance activities; and
- facilitating pre and post shut meetings to communicate with all required stakeholders and contractors

around shut scope, shut KPI’s and requirements from all work groups.
- minimum of 10 years post apprenticeship experience in a continuous mineral processing industry, mining or

heavy industry maintenance environment;
- some prior experience working within a maintenance planning function;
- knowledge of maintenance planning principles and procedures and computerised maintenance planning

systems;
- computer literate with knowledge of spreadsheets, database, scheduling (MS Project) and word processing
- excellent communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills;
- be a self-starter and able to work unsupervised;
- ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation; and
- ability to work in and develop a team environment;
