We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated Disabilities Support Worker. A reliable and professional individual with a strong sense of responsibility, someone who wants to join our team. This role involves providing high-quality care and support to individuals with disabilities, helping them lead independent and fulfilling lives.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
- Support clients in achieving their personal goals and developing independent living skills.
- Accompany clients to appointments, community activities, and social events.
- Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with clients, families, and other support staff.
- Implement individualized support plans tailored to each client's needs
- Foster a positive and supportive environment for clients
- Effectively manage and resolve any issues that arise during support sessions
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of client progress and activities
- Show willingness to participate in client’s day to day routines, goals, hobbies & interests

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Certificate III in Disability, Community Services, or relevant experience.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to support individuals with disabilities.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transport.
- Must have availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as required
- Ability to write detailed shift notes
- Demonstrated reliability and professionalism in previous roles
- Mental resilience and ability to handle challenging situations
