**Your new company**
Hays Office Support are currently seeking a Records Management Officer for a well-known Tasmanian organisation. This is an exciting opportunity to join their team & assist with administrative requirements relating to information management, records, and documents. This organisation undertakes management of shipping and operations within Tasmania. The role will require full-time hours and will be offered as a temporary 6-month assignment.

**Your new role**
Based in Hobart, our client is an organisation that focuses on port operations and infrastructure. As the Records Management Officer, you will act as a first point of contact providing advice, support, and guidance in information management. You will provide administrative support in managing the sections of documentation, records, and ensuring staff are meeting Controlled Document Standards. If you are interested in a high-level administrative role and have experience in this field, this is the job for you

**What you'll need to succeed**
To be the successful applicant you'll have demonstrated experienced working in a Records Management role. In addition, you will have;
- Knowledge and experience associated with electronic document and records management systems/softwares.
- Ability to provide advice and guidance to ensure compliance with information management principles.
- Knowledge and understanding of disposal procedures.
- Sound knowledge of record keeping legislation.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
