**About the role**

The role of **Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner** will provide direct family dispute resolution services casually across the Broken Bay Diocese, and work in partnership with other program areas. This is a Casual role that will be located across Waitara, Artarmon and Brookvale areas within Sydney.

**Duties**
- Providing mediation services to post separation couples using a variety of mediation models depending on the needs of the clients;
- Conducting intake, screening suitability, making appropriate referrals and interviewing clients;
- Managing complex issues with clients in high conflicts.
- Assisting in the review of Mediation practice and procedures.

**Requirements**:

- Must hold current FDR Registration with the Attorney General's Department
- Training and experience in Family Dispute Resolution including property mediations
- Current National Mediation (NMAS) accreditation
- Experience in group work facilitation
- Ability to work in a co-mediation and sole mediation model
- Knowledge of Family Law
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including report writing;
- National Criminal History Check and Working with Children’s Check
- Current NSW Driver’s Licence and access to an insured vehicle
