Truck Centre (WA) is WA's sole Mack, UD, Volvo and Hyundai truck Specialist Dealership. With 8 branches operating successfully state wide, we pride ourselves in taking on the prestigious responsibility of being the 'Single Largest Truck Transport Solution in WA.'

Vehicle Body Builders at Truck Centre (WA) are required to manufacture, repair and modify components to install a cab chassis in accordance with our customers' expectations. This will include but is not limited to:

- Constructing framework sections in metal, wood, fibreglass and other materials from engineering drawings.
- Complete frameworks by welding and bolting sections to the vehicles frame
- Make panels used to cover framework, by cutting, shaping and attaching materials to the vehicle.
- Design and fit mechanised equipment such as winches and hoists to various types of vehicle chassis.
- Install aftermarket accessories to meet the customers' requests
- Design and carry out chassis alterations.

Applicants must:

- Show a strong interest in the Heavy Automotive Industry
- Be willing to commit to the full 48 month term of the apprenticeship
- Have minimum Year 10 Qualifications (Year 12 completion highly desirable)
- Be self-motivated and display a positive attitude
- Be able to use initiative and Follow instructions
- Have the ability to work well within a team.
- A recent updated copy of your resume
- A cover letter outlining why you are interested in a career in the Road Transport industry and why you would make a great Truck Centre apprentice
- A copy of your most recent Academic Transcript
