**About the role**

As one of two Learning Development Officer, you will be responsible for providing and coordinating training assessment activities and career advice for non-clinical staff at Barwon Health, Great Ocean Road Health and HESSE Rural Health.

Duties of the Learning and Development Officer include but are not limited to:

- Establishing partnerships and liaising with external training providers to deliver appropriate courses for identified training needs
- Providing recommendations on required training and on the methods for training.
- Designing and facilitating learning programs that meet industry expectations and provide meaningful learning experiences
- Establishing a resource network to advice employees in relation to possible career pathways and areas of potential future training and employment

Essential: Certificate IV Training and Assessment
Essential: Tertiary qualifications, or experience in a relevant field such as teaching, careers counselling or human resources.

Essential: Experience in scheduling, marketing, coordination and delivery of both large and small scale consultation and training events.
Essential: Strong empathy and cultural awareness with proven customer service and team player skills.
Essential: Knowledge and experience within the fields of Learning and Development, Organisational Development/Human Resource Development and VET.
