**Position Descriptor**:
This is a brand new position to Elizabeth North Primary School, with the development of our new JP Disability Unit in 2025. The successful applicant will have a unique opportunity to collaborate with the leadership team and the new team of staff supporting in the disability unit, to shape the role, the set up of the new space, and the program for the 8 students who will be joining us.

Expectations of the role:
Collaborate with a team of staff to design and implement highly individualised learning experiences that align with the SA curriculum, EYLF and student needs
Create an engaging and supporting learning environment that promotes active learning and student participation
Communicating effectively with students, parents, and staff.

Applicant Qualities:
Must have a passion for working with students with disabilities, with relevant qualifications and experience desirable.
Strong communication skills, and classroom organisation and management skills
Commitment to fostering an inclusive and positive classroom environment.
Expertise in schools with educational disadvantage and an understanding of trauma informed practices is desirable.
