**About the opportunity**

If you are passionate about QA metrics, developing test cases and working with engineers to ensure product quality, come join us. We are looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst to become one of our team's quality guardian angels.

Ultimately, you should monitor all stages of software development lifecycle to identify and seek resolution of system malfunctions to meet quality standards.

You'll be working with colleagues who:

Day to day, you'll:

- Review requirements and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
- Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
- Contribute to User Story Acceptance Criteria during Backlog Grooming with your Product Manager
- Estimate, prioritise, plan and coordinate testing activities
- Participate in team ceremonies, like stand-ups, backlog grooming and sprint planning
- Design automated tests that engineers can develop and execute
- Prepare test data for system tests
- Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
- Design and manage thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved (automated preferred)
- Liaise with internal teams (e.g. engineers and product managers) to identify system requirements
- Track and improve quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
- Stay up-to-date and evaluate new testing tools and test strategies
- Run a combination of manual and automation testing

**Requirements**:
Ideally, you'll have:

- Proven experience in software development quality process
- Proven experience in software quality assurance
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
- Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases using Xray, Zephyr or similar (Jira)
- Hands-on experience with black box testing and automated testing tools
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process

Bonus points for:

- Experience with performance and/or security testing
- Experience in the Payments space
- Experience with Java and Go
