**About the position**

Working as part of the Ranger Services team, you will be responsible for enforcing various Acts and regulations, including the Dog Act 1976, Cat Act 2011, Litter Act 1979, Local Government Act 1995 and the City’s local laws.

**About you**

You are a motivated and community minded professional with a strong sense of integrity and a commitment to public safety and compliance. With a solid understanding of relevant legislation, you approach your work with fairness, professionalism and a focus on education and engagement.

You possess well-developed interpersonal and conflict resolution skills, enabling you to confidently manage difficult situations and communicate effectively with members of the public from diverse backgrounds. Your ability to work independently, exercise sound judgement and remain calm under pressure ensures you can respond to a wide range of situations in the field.

**Salary and Benefits**

Base Salary range: $82,049 - $87,516 per annum dependant on skills, experience, and qualifications.

Approximately $96,000 - $102,000 per annum inclusive of penalties (Weekends and Public Holiday penalty rates)
