- Seeking Experienced Commercial Lending Analyst to join the BOQ team

Reporting to the Owner Manager, you will provide support to the Business Banking Manager by preparing credit submissions for new and existing Business Banking customers as well as the completion of periodic reviews and daily management of compliance related activities.

You will alsoliaise with BOQ’s Loan Centre and external professional services providers to ensure timely and accurate processing of all documentation and settlements. The role requires a high level of customer service and someone who can connect with the customer and create value for them.

You will be responsible for:

- Providing lending support within the Branch on transactions up to $10M.
- Writing & providing timely and accurate recommendations for commercial credit submissions, including ordering valuations, title searches, company searches, credit checks where required.
- Developing & maintaining an in-depth understanding of industry trends.
- Verification of conditions & completion of relevant checklists.
- Supporting Relationship Managers in identifying, escalating and documenting new opportunities for the bank.
- Achieving targeted levels of customer service standards and sales by attracting, retaining, growing and increasing the value of branch customer base by lending new funds and with asset and liabilities growth.
- Assisting in building strong relationships with customers through the provisionof credit based solutions.
- Ensuring that BOQ’s credit policies, procedures and audit requirements are adhered to.
- Liaising with Loan Centre and external service providers to ensure documentation is accurate and settlements are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assisting the Business Banking Manager to action annual reviews prior to due dates, extension of expiring facilities prior to due dates, completing compliance checklists and liaising with stakeholders to ensure critical dates are met, e.g. lawyers, customers, loan center etc.
- Focus on compliance as you ensure branch operations are managed in accordance with bank policies & procedures on risk, compliance and security & ensure adherence to Bank of Queensland credit policies and procedures.
- You will be provided with the industry recognised Tier 2 Accreditation as part of your induction.
