**Qualifications**:

- NDIS Workers check
- Working with children check
- Police check
- Covid vaccination
- First aid / CPR certificate
- Certificate 3 in individual support
- Valid drivers license (preferred but not compulsory)
- Car insurance and vehicle registration
- Completion of Highschool certificate (or equivalent)
- Locations: Predominately based in Gosford (also based in Sydney)
- Attentive and good communicator - as confident as you can be, challenge yourself
- Vacancies for shift work includes the morning, afternoon, night, and weekend shifts
- Ability to follow compliance, uphold policies and deliver good practices as per the NDIS quality and safety guidelines
- Ability to show independence
- Ability to teach/educate participants basic numeracy, literacy
- Ability to educate participants regarding the public transport system
- Delivering an excellence in service, this includes: Being well mannered, punctual, **friendly**, compassionate and respectful.

**The role**:
Duties and responsibilities:

- Care over participants that have learning disabilities
- Care over participants that have cognitive impairment
- Participants that require assistance in personal activities & in daily (household) tasks
- Aiding the participant to participate in their community - being able to drive (or take public transport) and guide the participant to activities that require them to go outdoors
- Teaching the participant how to use public transport and attending outdoor settings
- Ability to teach basic numeracy & literacy
- Able to show respect, patience, and care towards all participants and other staff
- Good representation of ASAP Care services

Skills and experience:

- Demonstrates an ability to speak clearly and confidently
- Displays compassion and care
- Experience as a worker in any support work (NDIS, Aged Care, Hospital etc) - not compulsory but recommended
- Appropriate qualifications

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $31.80 - $54.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
