Company Description

Gumtree, CarsGuide & Autotrader is seeking an experienced Head of People who will be responsible for establishing & maturing the group HR function, while continuing to build out and evolve the existing people frameworks, policies, and initiatives. The role will report directly to the CEO and will play a critical role in enabling the business by providing strategic insight, partnership and support from a people and culture perspective. This role may also support other entities within The Market Herald as required.

As a member of the Senior Leadership Team you will be a key advisor and coach to the CEO and Senior Leaders across GCA.
Build and foster a performance-driven culture that drives employee engagement, retention and achievement.
Build and oversee the planning, development and execution of the GCA people function, which will include but not limited to; leadership & coaching, succession planning for key roles, compensation & benefits, talent acquisition, organizational design, capability, people engagement, performance management, mobility and employee relations.
Coach senior leaders and people managers to further develop their leadership capability.
Lead the organizational design to structure a high performing team.
Automate and streamline people processes and build fit for purpose local processes as we separate from Adevinta shared services.
Partner on initiatives and programs across GCA to drive increased organizational efficiency and effectiveness; Own the people side of transformation projects including but not limited to organizational design, HRIS implementation, payroll outsourcing and more.
Optimize the employee experience from recruitment to onboarding, offboarding and everything in between.
Play a key role enabling the culture and defining our culture and values across GCA.
Build a high performing HR team - which will include the addition of a HR Coordinator that you will have the opportunity to recruit once onboarded.
Support other group projects as required.
