Cyber Security Consultant

My client is a well-known organisation and a global player in the consultancy space. As a part of their expansion, they're looking to bring on a talented information security consultant well versed in risk assessments, audits and cyber controls. Working closely with fellow consultants, you'd be able to learn from senior members and collaborate on client projects.

The role is based in Sydney, with a couple of days in the office and the rest can be done remotely, as this business understands the value of flexibility. You'll be scoping, planning, reporting and delivering IT control reviews and risk assessments, as well as information/cyber security reviews too.

**Your responsibilities would include**:

- Identifying opportunities for clients to improve
- Ensure completion of assignment to a high standard
- Coordinate and liaise with third party personnel
- Work closely with fellow consulting and auditing teams
- Manage stakeholders expectations
- An excellent track record of IT Audit, internal control and risk management
- Experience performing risk assessments and ITGC
- Completed end to end audits with ISO27001, Essential 8, NIST etc.
- Knowledge of IT processes and best practices
- Fantastic written and verbal communication skills
- Previous consultancy experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Full Australian working rights
- Professional certification such as CISA, or other relevant IT certifications
- Bachelors or higher in Information Technology or Computer Science
- Willingness to learn new governance or security standards
