**Your new company**
Dash Group are currently looking to appoint a committed Skilled Operator providing a range of services within waste collection.

This role is a full time 2- 3 week temp assignment with potential for extension, this could be a great opportunity to work within Local Government.

**Your new role**
In this role, you will;
- To perform tasks that are undertaken by the Cleansing Unit as required.
- To inspect, report, clean and unblock pits and drains including operation of mechanical boring and flushing equipment.
- To operate and maintain drainage maintenance vehicles and equipment.
- To operate and maintain sweepers as required.
- To assist with the transfer of waste to disposal sites.
- To provide direction, on the job training and advice on safe working practices to Cleansing staff as required.
- To maintain appropriate records.
- Conduct daily operator maintenance on trucks and mobile plant as required.
- To be available for any emergency works and possibly be available for the After-hours duty officer roster.

**What you'll need to succeed**
To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:

- Licence to drive heavy combination vehicle.
- Licence to operate front end loader/backhoe.
- Licence to operate forklift.
- Experience in mechanical repairs.
- Understanding and experience with safely and competently operating mechanical sweepers.
- Knowledge of traffic control requirements as to placement of warning signs, barriers and lights.
- Ability to success pass a Police Check
