A high level of relationship management is required and it is expected that you will act as a key contact point for clients on the portfolio. A strong business development acumen is expected for this portfolio which has a focus on identifying, meeting and onboarding New-to-Bank (NTB) clients. Innovative thinking and research is critical to achieving outcomes, as we find clients which are not necessarily on the well-known wealth lists.
As part of the role, you will be expected to build collaborative relationships with key stakeholder groups across ANZ Private, Operations, Commercial and Institutional.

What will your day look like?
In this role you will start your day by reading the AFR, proactively looking for opportunities. You may also use technology to actively search for new client opportunities and would be expected to allocate time in your diary especially for this.
You will have set your own daily priorities which align with the portfolio strategy, key focus clients and new opportunities. Daily managing of client enquiries with support from our specialist/support areas with complex investment, lending and banking needs will be the norm.
You will be an important relationship contact for the client portfolio, working with the Senior Private Banker and other specialists, to help drive solutions to enhance the client experience with ANZ Private Office. Delivering exceptional client service is routine and expected.
What will you bring?
To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following
- Strong ability to build rapport with clients and deliver outstanding service.

Previous lending experience in retail and/or commercial credit
Strong focus on compliance, attention to detail & flawless execution is required.
Exceptional communication & client relationship management skills
Experience in a relationship banking role
Ability to identify and develop new business opportunities.
Excellent organisational and time management skills is required.
Investment product and/or advice knowledge will be highly regarded.
