**Skills and qualifications**

To be successful you must hold a:

- Valid NDIS Screening Check
- Valid Police Check
- Hold a current unrestricted Australian driver’s licence if providing transport
- Current First Aid or CPR certificate

**Desirable**
- Be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 vaccine and preferably vaccinated against the flu
- Working with Children Check (or have ability to obtain)
- Comprehensive car insurance if providing transport in your own vehicle
- Previous experience in working with people with disability or another associated support service
- Demonstrated ability to build strong and mutually beneficial relationships using advanced communication and interpersonal skills
- Be flexible to work a minimum of 3 shifts per week across a range of times including mornings, afternoons, evenings, overnights and weekends
- Be committed to undertaking and maintaining a Medication competency
- Certificate III in Individual Support qualification or greater, or willingness to learn and gain qualifications on the job as supported by Hireup
