Content Editor

**The Role**

Ion Analytics (IONA) is looking for an Hong Kong-based Content Editor with around 2-5 years of work experience in journalism and a fundamental understanding of financial markets. The position will involve editing M&A-related and regulatory news content for the flagship Mergermarket and Debtwire NextGen platforms among others.

**This role is also open for our Sydney and Singapore locations.**

**Key Responsibilities**:
- Identify and edit key time-sensitive market intelligence and prioritize publication.
- Ensure the accuracy of information gathered by reporters, ensuring all published content adheres to IONA's' coverage criteria and is relevant to our readers.
- Open to working flexible shifts.
- Work independently and in collaboration with a wide team of reporters and analysts across regions.

**Required Skills, Qualifications and Experience**:
- Excellent English speaking and writing skills.
- A passion for journalism and editing.
- Experience in reporting and editing for financial news services, newspapers or online publications.
- A postgraduate degree or diploma in journalism would be preferred.
- Research editors/copy editors at business intelligence-focused organizations, news publications/magazines, credit agencies or city editors who have experience in covering market intelligence can also apply.
