We are seeking a dedicated Professional Kitchen Porter to join our team in a brand new office tower at Circular Quay. You will work as part of a best-in-class culinary team committed to creating outstanding dining experiences.

Our mission is to deliver hatted restaurant-level hospitality from a state-of-the-art kitchen, all within an exclusive private dining room overlooking Sydney. This position offers a rare Monday to Friday schedule, allowing you to enjoy your weekends for a healthy work-life balance.

As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a vital role in supporting kitchen operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently. This includes dishwashing, food preparation, and logístical support. **Role Description**:
This entry-level position provides the opportunity to work alongside talented chefs who are masters in their craft. You will report to the Chef de Cuisine in the L53 Kitchen, providing operational support to the entire Culinary Team as needed.

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of back-of-house areas, including the kitchen, pantry, and storage rooms.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards.
- Receive product deliveries and manage dry storage and linens.
- Follow guidance from Sous Chefs and the Chef de Cuisine regarding prep and stock rotation.
- Assist with stock audits and report any damages.
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, mugs, and glassware.
- Operate pantry equipment as needed.
- Assist the FOH manager with various tasks, including plate preparation for events and cleaning/storage of crockery, cutlery, glassware, and silverware.
- Complete daily cleaning checklists to ensure all tasks are done.

**Shift Patterns**:

- Monday to Friday role
- Core shift hours: 7:30 am - 6pm
- Flexibility in working hours based on business needs

**Required Skills/Experience**:

- Preferred experience in hospitality.
- Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.
- Fluent in English.
- Positive attitude and passion for customer and operational services.
- Attention to detail and effective prioritization.
- Proactive team player and problem solver.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including confidentiality and diplomacy.
- Ability to lift and move supplies and equipment as needed.

**Summary of Role Requirements**:

- 2-3 years of relevant work experience required.
- Full working rights in Australia are mandatory (no students).

**Job Type**: Full-time
**Pay**: $34.00 per hour
**Schedule**: 8-hour shift
