**The opportunity**:
Reporting to the Production Team Leader, the Technical Professional will be responsible for the conversion and optimisation of 3D engineering data and the creation of 3D media content.

This position is a Casual opportunity.

**In this position you will be**:
Using 3DS Max, create 3D models for use in desktop, AR and VR training products

Working with established visual styles and assets to produce models for use in desktop/AR/VR that are consistent with existing content

Converting and optimizing 3D engineering data.

Creating of 3D media content, including high and low polygon models, textures and animations to support interactive real-time virtual training

Using computers, software packages and office equipment efficiently and effectively to meet routine needs.

Developing and maintaining appropriate technical ability e.g. current technologies.

Accurately dealing with instructions, messages, minutes, document registration etc.

Prioritising workload to routinely meet negotiated deadlines and ensure internal client needs are satisfied.

Demonstrating a good understanding of grammar and editing requirements.

Meeting with internal requirements for processes such as document registration and control.

5+ years’ experience 3D modelling for real-time (Unity, Unreal and VR experience a definite advantage)

3+ years’ experience with hard surface modelling in a commercial environment (experience optimising/tessellating CAD data for real-time 3D modelling)

An organised approach and good technical housekeeping skills

Experience with Microsoft Office and Adobe suite

3D production pipeline experience

Examples of your work (online folio preferred)

Excellent written and spoken communication skills

Ability to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance
