St Augustine’s Primary School is situated on the Gold Coast and has an approximate enrolment of 500 students. St Augustine’s Primary School is looking for a maintenance / grounds person to join our team. The successful applicant will be able to work in a school environment where no two days will be the same. We require someone who is able to perform maintenance work, grounds work and additional tasks as directed by leadership.

The successful applicant will be able to obtain a Paid Working with Children Qld. Blue Card and satisfy Brisbane Catholic Education Safeguarding requirements.

The position is initially 15 hours per week, this can be spread over several days and this will be negotiated with the Principal.

**To be eligible to be considered for this role you will**:

- hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement;
- be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment; and
- have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education.

- The Archdiocese of Brisbane has standards of conduct for workers to maintain a safe and healthy environment for children. Our commitment to these standards requires that we conduct Working With Children (WWC) and background referencing for all persons who will engage in direct and regular involvement with children and young people and/or adults-at-risk.
