As our
**Team Leader** based out of
**Lytton**, you will
**supervise and ensure the safe and efficient operation of shift operations (afternoon).** The Team leader/Cylinder Filler is responsible for the safe handling and filling of gas cylinders in compliance with the local regulations and meeting Elgas standard of operating procedures. This position reports directly to the Plant Manager.

**Few other responsibilities in this role include**:

- Inspection and cleaning of gas cylinders
- Painting of gas cylinders
- Refilling of gas cylinders in accordance with Elgas cylinder filling procedures.
- Understanding of hazards of LPG. (This can be provided on site via our on-line learning platform and inductions)
- Complying with all company standards relating to the safe handling of LPG cylinders.
- Movement of gas cylinders as required in plant. i.e. loading/unloading gas cylinders into cages.
- Maintaining a neat, clean, and orderly workplace through proper housekeeping procedures.
- Reporting of all incidents, near misses and hazard to Team Leader/Supervisor

**It is expected you will bring skills and experience including**:

- Current Forklift licence
- Able to pass drug & alcohol testing
- Reliable transport and current driver's licence
- Must be able to bend/lift 17-20kg gas cylinders with proper manual handling technique on a frequent basis.
