**The Company**

wc bath+shower / Thrifty Plumbing Supplies is Sydney's longest established independent plumbing & bathroom retailer, with 3 stores, based in Campsie, Chatswood & Seven Hills.

We have a small team who work closely together, and who are expertly skilled in their areas of responsibility.

This is a permanent part-time position - 4 days per week including alternate Saturdays, and is a great opportunity for someone who is looking for stability and a challenge. This role may suit a Student (perhaps studying in a related field), or someone looking for part-time work

**Your main duties will include, but are not limited to**:

- Assisting customers with product selections & options for their project during in-store consultations
- Demonstrating strong product knowledge to assist customers and preparing quotations & sales proposals / specifications, and following these through to order
- Building customer relationships & maintaining excellent customer service
- Liaising with project managers / designers / architects / builders & plumbers at quotation / order / after sales stage
- Administration tasks, including finalising customer invoices / orders
- Visual merchandising and maintenance of our showrooms appearance
- Assisting with day-to-day store operations
- Unpacking small deliveries and packing orders away
- Assist in the implementation of promotional & visual merchandising initiatives
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, quotes and transactions

**To succeed in this role, you will need to be able to demonstrate**:

- Excellent organisational skills with basic computer systems knowledge
- A solid understanding of the flow of information within a business
- The ability to work within a team and busy environment, whilst managing multiple tasks on the go
- Effective communication skills and a willingness to assist in all areas of business operations as well as the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Exceptional customer service
- Strong attention to detail

Prior experience in a Sales / Customer Service role is essential; previous experience in a high end retail / interior design environment will be well regarded. We provide comprehensive on the job training.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 32 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- Microsoft Office: 1 year (preferred)
- Administration: 1 year (preferred)
