Customer Operations Representative

Due to continued growth, an exciting opportunity has become available for a Customer Operations Representative - Billing to join the Computershare Utility Services (CUS) team based in Maroochydore. This team is renowned for their service excellence as well as their strong culture.

**A role you will love**

As part of the close-knit team, you will be responsible for many of the key administrative activities related to billing and metering of gas and water utility customers. This includes maintaining and updating account data, interpreting complex billing data for both Retail and Commercial and Industrial companies and liaising with various stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely bills are issued.

**Some of your key responsibilities will include**:

- Manage and maintain property and metering information received from third party stakeholders
- Manage billing, metering and payments activities, including system work queues, exceptions and reporting in accordance with Service Level Agreements
- Receive and process data including exceptions using sound analytical skills
- Actively participate in team discussions, meetings and other team forums, to impart knowledge and ideas that result in team decisions
- To be considered for this position, you will have come from a fast-paced administrative environment and be able to successfully multi-task.

**What will you bring to the role?**
- Strong administrative experience and attention to detail
- Outstanding listening, oral and written communication skills for gathering and providing information
- Strong computer skills (including Excel)
- Fast learner to adapt to multiple systems and processes
- A high level of initiative, tackling problems in a methodical and logical manner
- Excellent attention to detail
- A passion for providing quality and efficient service
- Previous experience in utility or related industry is preferred
- Previous experience in a billing or metering role is desirable
