**About the role**
We are seeking a Communications Advisor who will provide community and stakeholder management services to staff for media relations, issues management and stakeholder relationship management.
- Develop strategies for stakeholder management and consult with a wide range of interest groups
- Create and implement communication strategies, activities, procedures and policies to assist the project
- Prepare communications materials, researching and writing media releases, newsletters, flyers, display materials, speech notes
- Provide advice and support to the Project Directors, Communications Leads, managers and other staff in the areas of media
- Provide training, advice and support to project staff and consultants to improve relationships with stakeholders

**About you**
Ideally, you have experience in dealing with difficult stakeholders and critical conversations, and hold:

- Previous experience in dealing with difficult stakeholders and critical conversations
- Class C driver’s license and own vehicle
- White Card or ability within six months of starting
- A degree in communications, PR marketing or equivalent (desirable)
- Experience in major infrastructure project environments and social media competency (desirable)

This role is offered on full-time and part-time hours (2 days a week), casual rates and a 6 months contract with the possibility to extend (2x12 months).
