**Job summary**

We are seeking an experienced and driven **Heavy Diesel Fitter** for a Workshop **AND** Field Service role based out of Brisbane.

The role will be servicing our heavy mobile plant and resurfacing track machines - Plassers.

It will be a split role working swings in NSW when required and working in Brisbane workshop in Wacol, Brisbane QLD when you are not working away.

**Job description**

Our **Heavy Diesel Fitters** are responsible for the repair and maintenance of the electrical components of our heavy vehicles and/or plant equipment. They will inspect, diagnose and repair faults, perform routine maintenance and dismantle and reassemble our plants electrical components with DC voltage.

**Qualifications and experience required**:
Australian-recognised trade Qualification in Diesel Fitting.

5+ years fitting experience, preferably on a variety of Plant & Equipment.

Field service experience

Experience working with hydraulics

Experience with Auto electrical fault finding

Strong focus on safety and quality.

Experience on track machines - Plassers desirable

Heavy vehicle driver’s licence highly regarded.
