In this role, you will use your excellent communication skills to work collaboratively with various internal and external stakeholders. You will support the operational needs of the business, and using your attention to detail will: - Ensure all goods are delivered to the distribution centres within the expected time constraints - Expedite any pre-ordered and back ordered materials - Drive and deliver best practice end to end procurement practices across the organisation - Source and negotiate the most cost-effective rates with new suppliers - Ensure suppliers and their subcontractors meet or exceed expectations in regard to safety, environment, quality, price and delivery requirements - Proactively liaise between staff and suppliers to resolve any purchasing supply issues What you will bring: - Previous purchasing experience is essential - Strong interpersonal skills with an accomplished ability to negotiate - Ability to work autonomously and cope with the pressure of demanding targets and tight deadlines - Resources and high volume purchasing experience will be highly regarded **How to apply** - Resume - Cover Letter (optional)
