**Position: Disability Support Worker with QUALIFICATION - DANDENONG**
This role offers the opportunity to support a small number of long-term clients in a calm, home-like environment while making a meaningful difference every day.
**Summary**:
Shift Type**:OVERNIGHT SHIFTS ONLY - Sleepover.**
We are looking for Sleepover Staff Only. Your shift will include 4 hours of ACTIVE work, with 8 hours of INACTIVE/Sleepover work. You MUST be available for Sleepover shifts.
**How much you can earn in your 12 hour (4 Active + 8 inactive) sleepover shift?**
Weekday Sleepover (including 4 hours of Active + Sleepover): $258.56 per shift
Saturday Sleepover (including 4 hours of Active + Sleepover): $314.90 per shift
Sunday Sleepover (including 4 hours of Active + Sleepover): $356.24 per shift
Public Holiday Sleepover (including 4 hours of Active + Sleepover): $438.87 per shift
- Pay is inclusive of Casual Loading and Sleepover Allowance._

**Essential Qualifications and Skills**:
- Strong work history in Disability/Aged Care/Nursing Care.
- CPR First Aid Certificate (Level 2) (required).
- Valid Driver's Licence.
- Working with Children Check (required).
- NDIS Workers Screening Check Clearance (required).
- Completion of NDIS Worker Orientation Modules (required).
- Infection Control Training Certification.
- Authorisation to work in Australia.
- Ability to work independently in 1:1 support settings.
- Proven experience in delivering personal care, including showering, toileting, dressing, continence care, and use of hoists.
- A strong commitment to meeting the individual needs and goals of people with disabilities.
- Confidence and reliability in supporting clients with high physical and complex care needs.
- Applicants living locally will be highly regarded.
- Flexible for short, long and **overnight shifts.**
**Important - Please Read Before Applying**:
This role involves hands-on personal care for clients with high physical and complex support needs.
We are specifically seeking support staff who:
- Have genuine experience delivering personal care.
- Are confident, capable, and comfortable with all aspects of hygiene and personal care support.
If you are not confident or comfortable providing direct personal care, this role is not suitable.
**Applicants with experience in High Intensity Supports will be highly considered.**
This includes (but is not limited to):
- Complex bowel care
- PEG feeding and management
- Subcutaneous injections
- Tracheostomy care
- Ventilator support
- Severe dysphagia and mealtime management
- Administration of PRN medication
**Role Overview**:
In this role, you will provide high-quality, individualised care and support. Working one-on-one with our clients, you will help them achieve their personal goals and enhance their independence, all within an environment that values empathy and genuine care.
You will deliver supports in a **brand new, highly modified Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA)**. The clients you work with will be people with physical disabilities (NOT behavioural) who require a high level of support. You will support them in their daily living tasks and, at times, accessing the community—going for walks, doing day-to-day tasks, and participating in enjoyable activities that align with the client's interests and routine.
You will work together with other staff in delivering supports to a maximum of **three residents**. We are looking for long-term staff who can build meaningful relationships with our long-term residents, contributing to the creation of a home environment that is **comfortable, safe, and happy**.
